The gray piece in front is part of the lid, which makes it awkward to handle. If you don’t mind making a big mess, it’s a very quiet machine, even if you manage to open it and grind beans.
most recent blog entriesThis is the worst Coffee Grinder on the market. When it grinds it creates static charge that sticks to the coffee grounds. The grounds attach themselves to the lid of the grinder, then when you scrape them out they STICK TO YOUR HAND, OR A COFFEE BRUSH OR YOUR SHIRT OR THE COUNTER. It’s terrible! In the end you will be covered with coffee! DON’T BUY IT!
most recent blog entries…………and it works very well. In fact, it outperforms my Bosch grinder, is quieter and I’ve had NO issue with static electricity causing the grounds to cling to anything! In fact, when I’m finished grinding I pour the grounds directly in to the filter in the coffee maker and it leaves no particles of coffee in the grinder at all! Great little item.
